Divorce: My firm represents clients in the various aspects of a divorce including property division, child support, child custody and visitation, and concerns about divorcing in the current economic climate. I offer both full and limited-scope representation. Limited-scope representation involves legal representation that is limited to one particular issue.

Child custody and visitation: In Alameda County, mediation is required in child custody cases. Mediation can be an effective and less adversarial way of getting parties to agree on a parenting plan and timeshare arrangement that is in the best interests of the children. I am an advocate for children, and I strive to develop child custody and visitation arrangements that help nuture them.

Child support: The amount of child support you pay is based on both parent's incomes and the time each of you spends with your children. Child support is designed to provide for the needs of the children and is an important issue in divorce and paternity cases.

Paternity: I represent married or unmarried parents of both genders who need representation in a paternity suit. Once parentage is established, it affects child support, child custody, and visitation. Having an experienced family law attorney will insure that your rights as a parent are protected.

Stepparent adoptions: As new families form through remarriage, a new spouse may become interested in adopting a stepdaughter or stepson.

Post decree modification and enforcement: As a California family law and divorce lawyer, I represent clients who are interested in enforcing or requesting changes to their divorce or family court orders, and those who are contesting changes requested by the other parent or ex-spouse. I handle both the modification and enforcement of child support, the timeshare of the children, or other court-ordered terms. I also serve the legal concerns of civilian and military families.
